SEA SALT & DRIFTWOOD by OSMIC

The fashion for home crafting seems to be at an all-time high at the moment with new businesses springing up every day. The Etsy platform has really helped to push these companies to greater prominence but it’s come at a cost. The majority of them are producing products based on other companies’ fragrances and many don’t even alter the name. How many times have you seen Lime Basil & Mandarin or English Pear & Freesia? STEPHAN'S SIX - MICHAEL ANGOVE

Michael Angove first collaborated with Jo Malone London back in 2014 but this month sees five of his designs used to re-promote their iconic soap line. Originally from Barry in South Wales, but now living in Devizes, he studied at the Winchester School of Art and then the Royal College of Art before working as a print designer for Jean Paul Gaultier, Hugo Boss and Liberty Department Store. With his work now exhibited all over the world I thought it was time to catch up with this fellow Welshman and ask him “Stephan’s Six”.

So, with this in mind, I thought it would be fun to look at two of the most requested aromas and see where they fit into our childhood memories.

STEPHAN'S SIX - CHRISTOPHER BIGGINS

Christopher Biggins has had an eclectic career, from Porridge to Poldark, Rentaghost to Surprise Surprise and even I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. He is now best known for playing Panto Dame every Christmas, the only one he missed was when he was in the jungle, but people forget that he trained as a classical actor and his credits are impressive. However, his infectious laugh and larger than life personality make him the ideal "celebrity" and I was interested to see what he would reveal during "Stephan's Six".
