STEPHAN'S SIX - HANS HENDLEY


With a start in photography and music, Hans Hendley was flexing his creative muscle from an early age. Pretty soon he realised that his philosophies and ideals didn’t really fit the strict commercial path and so he moved to New York to begin working with what he described as “small spirited brands”. Always fascinated by perfume, he launched his own range in October 2014. With the recent release of his ninth fragrance, Mown, I thought that it was time to find out a little more about Hans Hendley as I asked him “Stephan’s Six”.

STEPHAN'S SIX - MARINA BARCENILLA


You might not have heard of Marina Barcenilla, but you've probably heard of her award winning perfume, India, which won Best Independent Fragrance at last week’s Fragrance Foundation Awards. Born in Spain, her desire was to try and create a perfume range grounded solely in traditionally extracted ingredients. STEPHAN'S SIX - JAMES DREYFUS


Still probably best known for his role as Tom Farrell, the outrageous flatmate to Kathy Burke's equally outrageous Linda La Hughes in the BBC comedy series Gimme Gimme Gimme, James Dreyfus trained as a classical actor at RADA before getting swept into comedy. With a string of acting credits to his name, and most recently seen as Elwood P. Down in Harvey at London's Haymarket Theatre, what would he make of "Stephan's Six"?
